OST to PST

Privacy Policy

Effective date:
Operated by OST to PST

Mailbox files and message contents

OST to PST opens mailbox files that you select and processes them on your device to display folders and messages, preview attachments, create a PST copy, and optionally verify the result. The app does not upload your mailbox files, messages, email addresses, or attachments to us or to a conversion server.

The selected source mailbox is read without being modified. You control the source file and any exported copies.

Local files and temporary previews

Converted PST files are written to a location you choose on Mac. On iPhone and iPad, the app first writes the output in its local Documents folder and then lets you export a copy through Files. After a successful export, the app removes its local working copy. A later conversion may remove stale working output left by an earlier conversion.

File attachments opened for Quick Look are written to a temporary preview folder on your device. The app attempts to remove that folder when the preview closes or the message view is dismissed. An interruption may leave temporary files for system cleanup.

The app checks file size and available storage locally to help determine whether a conversion can proceed.

Network connections and external links

Mailbox reading, conversion, and verification do not require a network connection. Remote resources in HTML messages, including remote images, are blocked, and JavaScript supplied by a message is disabled.

When you choose a web link or email link in a message, it opens in your browser or email app. Those applications, the website you visit, and any file location or cloud provider you choose operate under their own privacy practices.

Accounts, advertising and analytics

OST to PST does not require an app account and does not include advertising, tracking, analytics services, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Support requests

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include so that we can respond. Please describe the issue, your device and system version, and the mailbox file type and size. Avoid sending personal mailbox files or message contents unless they are necessary and you choose to share them.

Your control over data

You can stop using the app, cancel a conversion, and delete source files and exported copies through Finder, Files, or the location where you saved them. Removing the app does not necessarily remove copies exported to other locations. Those files remain under your control.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The effective date identifies this version.
